WORKSHOPS
Still feeling skeptical that there are formulas for success? Not sure if Trial Structure can really deliver? If you are serious about changing the course of your practice, the results for your clients and enhancing your skill set, it is going to mean you have to be willing to roll your sleeves up and do some work. Getting the method down is going to takes some time. The free webinars are a great starting point, but to create long-term success and a platform to build upon, it is going to mean investment. Everyone knows there isn’t a “magic-pill” for winning in trial and let’s face it, this is an incredibly difficult environment for lawyers representing victims. There are some tough public attitudes about lawyers, the tort system and people who “sue for money”. Sadly, some of those attitudes are deserved. Facing these challenges head-on and learning how to communicate with jurors and inviting them to a place where they can fairly examine your case – – – where the playing field is level—well, this means delving deep and learning something new.
Are you growth-mindset? Are you dedicated to mastery of your craft? Or, are you stuck in the belief that trial lawyers with repeated results just have “it” and you must not? Growth-mindset invites practitioners of all levels, seasoned trial lawyers, and brand-spanking new litigators to build from wherever it is they may be beginning. Trial Structure is designed to accommodate growth-mindset lawyers willing to put in the effort to go beyond the “boxes” of each segment and elevate their persuasion. In fact, our workshops have members who arrive for the first time to “check things out” and master-level trial lawyers who return to enhance their understanding of Trial Structure. If there is an intent to uncover a path towards greater confidence and success, then the workshops are the next step.
On-line
COVID-19 and quarantine protocols brought a bounty of unwelcome changes, but the benefit to our members is we had opportunities to perfect our on-line format. We deliver hands-on, small group sessions targeted on various aspects of the method from the ease and comfort of your home or office. Full day or multiple day seminars are available on each area of trial where we apply structure to your case and walk you through the steps of how to develop and apply the method. You will have opportunities to use worksheets and consult directly with Trial Structure staff to oversee your progress and understanding. Our small group sessions ensure that every attendee has an opportunity to practice the skills of creating and delivering a structure and depart with the skills necessary to break down the case and rebuild it in a structure format (and to do the same thing with all the other cases in the firm!)
In-Person
Gradually, as our country and the world return to new normal, we expect our in-person workshops to resume. These multiple-day seminars on opening statement, closing argument
